Great pitching tonight from Jonathan Sanchez throwing seven innings of six-hit ball with eight strikeouts. Big props to Brian Horwitz hitting his first major league home run in the Giants six-run first inning. Now the Giants have to keep this up and give the same kind of support to Barry Zito and Matt Cain.

Don’t laugh, but if they can get those two on the winning track good things are going to happen for this bunch. You can see by watching the players in the dugout that they are really becoming a close knit group. Fun to watch.

Now all we have to do is grab us a couple of big bats in Thursday’s draft and keep building from within.
