Oregon Ducks release:

SHOOTING STARS . . . Oregon has outshot the opposition in 11-of-12 games this season. That included a season-best 63.3 percent (31-of-49) Dec. 28 versus Mount St. Mary’s. Only Nebraska managed a better shooting percentage than the Ducks (.477 to .427).

MIIGHTY MAARTY . . . Senior forward Maarty Leunen has been a double-double machine this season. He leads all Pac-10 players with eight in 2007-08. Coming off a career-high 26 points versus Mount St. Mary’s, Leunen has seven double-doubles in his last nine games, and has nine double-figure rebounding games this season.
Leunen became just the 11th player in school history to reach 700 career rebounds with his double-double performance (23 points, 11 rebounds) Dec. 11 against Sacramento State. He joins Luke Jackson (746 rebounds, 2000-04) and Richard Lucas (714, 1987-91) as the only three Ducks to notch 700 career boards in the last 31 seasons. He grabbed 12 boards Dec. 28 versus Mount St. Mary’s to bring his career total to 736 and pass Charlie Warren (730/1959-62) for eighth. Jackson and Charlie Franklin (747/1955-58) are next.
Leunen needs 14 more rebounds to become the 73rd player in Pac-10 history with 750 career boards.

ASU Sun Devils release:

The Ducks averaged 75.9 points per game last year…ASU is 18-11 (.621) against Oregon in Tempe since joining the Pac-10 (4-3 in past seven years) and is 34-30 against the Ducks all-time…ASU won eight straight over Oregon from 1990-94 under Bill Frieder, but the Ducks have won the past four…Oregon has won five straight over ASU just once (1986-88)…last year in Tempe, ASU held Oregon to just .375 shooting in the second half after UO shot 50 percent in the first half but No. 13 Oregon topped ASU 60-55 on Jan. 11. ASU made just a trio of three-pointers, a season-low…in Eugene on Feb. 8, No. 13 Oregon topped ASU 55-51 as ASU was a season-low 31.7 percent from the field (19-of-60). The Sun Devils did not score a field goal in the final 5:58 of the first half as Oregon went on a 12-0 run.
